High School coaches and players traveled to Dallas to support BRIDGE Lacrosse Dallas. The players participated and helped run the Fall Ball practice. BRIDGE Lacrosses' mission is "To introduce diverse and traditionally underserved populations to lacrosse...."
High School Boys and Girls Give to Others
SCLA is proud of the commitment shown by several of the high school boys, girls and coaches in giving of their time to support BRIDGE Lacrosse Dallas. BRIDGE Lacrosse Dallas is an organization which reaches out to diverse and traditionally underserved populations by using lacrosse as a tool for teaching character education values, life skills through competition and social interaction lacrosse provides.
Coach Pico and Coach Bumpass took 7 high school boys players to Dallas on Sunday, October 18th to help run the Fall Ball practice for the boys BRIDGE Lacrosse.
Coach Arnold and Coach Bennett, along with 9 high school girls players, also traveled to Dallas on Sunday, November 1 to support the girls division of BRIDGE Lacrosse.
Edie Lycke with BRIDGE Lacrosse Dallas stated: “On behalf of all of us at BRIDGE Lacrosse Dallas….thank you and your players for coming all the way from Southlake to run our Fall Ball practice today. I understand you showed up with a lot of players and it was a great afternoon for our boys. We sincerely appreciate your being there and sharing your lacrosse expertise. Please pass along our appreciation to all your players, too.”
